Ointment for dry, chapped and irritated skin that acts as a protector and softener, thanks to its emollient properties.

It is a topical medicine with emollient action indicated for the symptomatic relief of dry, irritated and chapped skin, as well as a skin protector and softener.
In healthcare use it is also applied as a general lubricant in gynaecological and rectal examinations, as well as for the placement of probes and application of dressings.
It comes in a practical 18 g tube.
It can be used in both adults and children. It is also suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Apply a thin layer on the skin, previously clean and free of wounds, 1 to 3 times a day.
For gynaecological and rectal examinations (by qualified healthcare personnel), apply a thin layer of product to the area of friction before the examination.
Do not use Orravan pure sterile Vaseline:
In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to petroleum jelly.
On wounded areas.
On the breasts, in case of breast-feeding.
Although adverse effects of petroleum jelly are uncommon, sensitivity reactions have been reported in rare cases in susceptible individuals.
Acne problems and inflammatory reactions have also been reported following absorption of the product due to off-label use.
Orravan Pure Sterile Vaseline contains only vaseline as the active ingredient and no added excipients.
It is a clear, very creamy ointment that should be kept at a temperature below 30 degrees. It is available in different presentations, all of them in aluminium tubes of 18 g, 25 g and 32 g.
This product may stain clothes, so it is recommended that you wash your hands after use.
