It is a healing medicine with antibiotic action whose active ingredient is Centella asiatica extract, which promotes, protects and accelerates healing. It also contains neomycin, which broadly covers the bacterial spectrum to fully guarantee the anti-infective efficacy of the product.
Its use is indicated for the treatment of infected wounds and burns or those at risk of bacterial infection.
Suitable for use in adults and adolescents.
During pregnancy and lactation, use only under medical prescription.
Apply 1 to 3 times a day on the area to be treated, previously washed and dried.
Do not use Blastoestimulin on children, due to the lack of studies on this population group.
If you are allergic to Centella asiatica extract or to any of the excipients. Also do not use if you have a skin rash.
Do not use if the burns or ulcers to be treated are severe or affect large areas of skin, unless your doctor tells you to.
Blastoestimulin ointment may cause side effects, as with all medicines. This does not mean that everyone will experience them. In this case, a slight stinging sensation has been observed in some particularly sensitive patients, but this is of no importance as it does not correspond to irritation.
Blastoestimulin ointment contains the following active ingredients: Centella asiatica extract 0.010 g per gram of cream and Neomycin sulphate 0.0035 g per gram.
Excipients: diethylene glycol monostearate, propylene glycol, corn germ oil, French lavender essence, geranium essence and purified water.
This is a very useful medicine to have in the medicine cabinet of any household. However, this medicine should not be used for prolonged periods of time or on infected wounds.
