It is also used by qualified healthcare personnel as a general lubricant in gynaecological and rectal examinations, as well as for the placement of probes and/or application of dressings.
It comes in a practical 5 g tube, perfect to take with you wherever you go.
This product can be used in both adults and children, as well as during pregnancy and lactation.
Apply a thin layer of product to clean, unbroken skin. It can also be used as a lip softener.
In gynaecological and rectal examinations (always by qualified health personnel): apply a thin layer of the product to the area of friction before the examination.
Do not use Vaseline pure Pege:
On areas with wounds.
In case of allergy to Vaseline.
On the breasts, if you are breastfeeding.
Adverse effects of petroleum jelly are not common, although sensitivity reactions have been observed in susceptible individuals on rare occasions.
Acne problems and inflammatory reactions have also been reported after absorption, caused by improper use of the product.
Pege Pure Sterile Petroleum Jelly contains pure filant petroleum jelly as the active ingredient, and does not contain any additional excipients.
This is a product for topical use and should be kept at a temperature below 30 degrees Celsius. It has a creamy consistency and a slightly whitish colour. Its emollient action makes it the perfect ally for soothing dry, irritated or chapped skin.
It comes in a practical screen-printed aluminium tube in different formats of 5 and 33 grams.
