Ointment for the symptomatic relief of dryness, mild irritation and chafing of the skin. As a general lubricant.

It is a medicine in ointment form with emollient action indicated for the symptomatic relief of dry, irritated and chapped skin, thanks to its protective and skin-softening properties.
It is also used by healthcare personnel as a general lubricant , for gynaecological and rectal examinations, probe placement and application of dressings.
It is suitable for use in adults and children, as well as during pregnancy and lactation.
Apply a thin layer to clean, unbroken skin 1 to 3 times a day. Can be used as a lip softener.
In gynaecological and rectal examinations (only by qualified health personnel): apply a thin layer of the product on the area of friction before starting the examination.
Do not use Vaseline pure Cuve:
In case of allergy to petroleum jelly.
On wounded areas of the skin.
On the breasts if you are breastfeeding.
Although it is not common for Vaseline pure Cuve to cause side effects, sensitivity reactions in susceptible individuals have occurred on rare occasions. Acne and inflammatory reactions have been reported.
Vaseline pure Cuve contains only the active ingredient Vaseline filante and has no added excipients.
This ointment should be kept at a temperature below 30 degrees Celsius for proper storage. It is clear and slightly whitish in colour and very creamy to the touch.
It is recommended to wash hands after use to avoid staining clothes.
It comes in a screen-printed aluminium tube containing 30g of ointment.
