Prim Palmar Immobiliser Wrist Brace, Size L

This product restricts dorso-palmar flexion, relieving pain that may appear in the wrist area. It helps with the recovery of pathologies or injuries that require immobilisation of the wrist and provides a high degree of stabilisation of the carpometacarpal joint.

It has an open, seamless design, maximising comfort and perforated ventilation areas for maximum breathability.

It helps with the ailments caused by Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, whose symptoms include: tingling, numbness in the index and middle fingers, sensation of heat, weakness and cramps that hinder the closing of the fist. It is also indicated for cases of tendinitis, neurological injuries, pathologies or injuries that require immobilisation of the wrist; postoperative, painful and inflammatory processes and rehabilitation. It also facilitates the recovery of fractures or fissures in the carpometacarpal joint that require strong containment after treatment with plaster.

Measure the contour of your wrist to choose the correct size. Open the velcro and straps and slide the thumb into the brace. When the hand is well positioned, close the velcro and straps.

Although the brace is not for single use, it is for one patient only.

If you notice any side effects, complaints or sensitisation, please inform your doctor immediately. In pressure areas, the skin must be free of lesions or hypersensitivity.

It is recommended that the first fitting of the orthosis be performed by qualified personnel.

The proper use of the orthosis depends on the condition of its elements, which is why it must be monitored regularly. The healthcare personnel who monitor the patient can indicate whether the product is still suitable or whether it should be replaced.

Velcro fasteners should be kept clean in order to maintain their functionality, removing any material that may remain adhered to them. Periodic cleaning of the product is recommended.

Do not use the wrist strap while showering and do not allow children to play with this product.
