The Palmar Immobilising Wrist Brace is an orthopaedic product specially designed to relieve pain caused by muscle and nerve tension in the wrist. It keeps the wrist at rest and in a neutral posture to speed up the recovery process.

Its malleable aluminium palmar splint provides great immobilisation, support and stabilisation of the wrist. Its 4 mid-lateral blades in the dorsal area limit dorsal-palmar flexion, allowing a better lateral grip of the wrist and forearm. The thumb remains free, so there is complete mobility of the fingers.

The fabrics, manufactured with state-of-the-art technology, help to obtain a feeling of relief and comfort. The fabric is breathable and has perforated areas to maintain good ventilation. The seamless three-layer design (foam, velour and sponge) allows the area to be free from irritation and chafing.

The product is latex-free.

Prim Palmar Immobilising Wrist Support is specifically indicated for post-traumatic and post-operative immobilisation, nerve inflammation, sprains, instability, treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome and tendonitis.

Indicated for sports injuries, patients with symptoms of arthritis and to prevent the progression of ailments caused by the repetition of certain movements.

Choose the size by measuring the circumference of the wrist. Size S has a wrist circumference of 14 to 18 cm and a length of 20.5 cm.

Open the velcro straps and slide your hand into the wristband. Once positioned, close the velcro and straps. Adjust it so that the wrist is comfortable and completely immobilised.

Periodically wash the product to maintain its functionality and cleanliness, and should not be used during bathing, showering, etc.

Use under the continuous supervision of a physician. Do not use longer than recommended by experts.

Discontinue use in case of side effects such as skin condition, irritation, inflammation or sensitisation in the area.

In pressure areas, the skin should not be damaged or irritated. It is advisable to keep the area clean before applying the Palmar Immobilising Wrist Support. It is also advisable to wash the corresponding area periodically, maintaining proper personal hygiene.

The orthosis should not be reused. It should only be used by the patient.
