Lozenges for the symptomatic relief of pain and irritation of the mouth and throat in adults and children from 6 years of age.

It is a medicine formulated with bencinamide, an active ingredient that has a local anti-inflammatory action. It is therefore used for the relief of temporary sore throat, irritation or discomfort when swallowing.
It comes in a handy pack of 20 lozenges.
Suitable for use in adults and children over 6 years of age.
Take 1 lozenge every 8 hours, no more than 3 a day.
Do not use Tantum Verde lemon flavour in children under 6 years of age.
This medicine is contraindicated in patients who have had stomach and intestinal ulcers, as well as in patients suffering from heart, liver or kidney diseases.
Pregnancy and lactation: a doctor should be consulted.
This medicine contains isomalt (special care in patients with intolerance to certain sugars), aspartame (special care in patients with phenylketonuria), peppermint flavouring with benzyl alcohol, citronellol, d-limonene, eugenol, geraniol (may cause allergic reactions) and butylated hydroxyanisole (which is a component of lemon flavouring).
Like all medicines, Tantum Verde may cause side effects:
Frequent adverse reactions: numbness, drowsiness, blisters in the mouth, burning sensation in the mouth, altered sense of taste.
Very frequent adverse reactions: Dizziness, headache, throat irritation, sore throat, headaches.
The active substance in Tantum Verde Lemon is benzydamine. Specifically, each tablet contains 3 mg benzydamine hydrochloride (equivalent to 2.68 mg benzydamine).
The other ingredients are: isomalt (E953), aspartame (E951), citric acid monohydrate, lemon flavouring, mint flavouring, quinoline yellow (E104), indigotine (E132).
Tantum lemon green is a yellowish-green lozenge with a refreshing lemon flavour.
To administer, simply pop the lozenge in the mouth and let it dissolve slowly while moving it around, so that the medicine can work in the oropharyngeal area.
Take the minimum number of tablets to relieve the symptoms in as few days as possible.
Do not use this treatment for more than 3 days, unless prescribed by your doctor.
