How to use Dosage varies according to the age of the patient: Children over 6 years of age: one tablet to suck every 2 or 3 hours dissolving little by little in the mouth without exceeding 4 tablets a day. Adults: one tablet every 2-3 hours without exceeding 8 tablets a day. Contraindications The use of this medicine is contraindicated in children under 6 years of age. Special care in pregnancy and lactation. This medicine contains isomalt and maltitol, so you should consult your doctor if you have a certain intolerance to some sugars. Side effects Like all medicines, Bucomax honey-lemon flavoured lozenges may cause side effects: Common side effects: irritation of the tongue and/or mouth and allergic reactions such as skin rash or redness. Very frequent adverse reactions: Abdominal pain, nausea or mouth discomfort. Composition The active ingredients are: amylmethacresol 0.6 mg, 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg.
