Designed for the relief of localised ailments of joints or muscles caused by sprains, torticollis, lumbago or others of a similar nature.
Apply Algesal ointment 3 or more times a day on the area to be treated, massaging gently until completely absorbed.
Do not apply this cream on mucous membranes and open wounds.
No adverse effects have been reported with this medicine.
Each 100 g of Algesal ointment contains 10 g diethylamine salicylate and 10 g myrtecaine (INN) as the main active ingredients. The other excipients are: anhydrous sodium sulphite, hydrochloric acid 12 N, light paraffin, ethylene glycol palmitostearate, glycerol palmitostearate, cetyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol 300 palmitostearate, saturated preglycolised glycerides, glycerol ricinoleate 60/0E, lavandin essence and purified water c.s.
