It is a topical medicine with anti-inflammatory and analgesic action used for the treatment of pain and inflammation caused by bruises, minor contusions, torticollis or other contractures.
Intended for use in adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older seeking relief from inflammation and pain.
Apply a small amount of gel to the affected area 3 or 4 times a day, massaging gently until completely absorbed. After application, wash hands thoroughly.
Do not use Flogoprofen:
If you are under 12 years of age.
If you are pregnant.
In case of allergy to etofenamate or to any of the other ingredients present in this medicine.
On mucous membranes or irritated or injured areas of the skin.
Flogoprofen gel may cause side effects, as with all medicines, but this does not mean that everyone will experience them. As a topical drug, these effects are related to disorders of the skin and subcutaneous tissue and usually disappear quickly after discontinuation of treatment:
Reddening of the skin at the application site.
Allergic skin reactions: redness, rash, itching, swelling or blistering.
Allergic skin reactions due to sun exposure.
Each gram of Flogoprrofen gel contains 50 mg of Flogoprofen 50 mg of etofenamate as the main active ingredient. The other excipients are dimethyl sulfoxide, levomenthol, carbomers, 96 per cent ethanol, turpentine, triethanolamine and purified water.
Flogoprofen gel is a medicine that belongs to the family of aines, used as an anti-inflammatory in torticollis, sprains or contractures with mild to moderate pain in patients over 12 years of age.
Its dosage is very simple. Just apply a thin layer to the centre of the pain every eight hours, rubbing the gel to feel an instant hot-cold sensation that helps to reduce pain quickly. Do not forget to wash your hands after use.
