Kalm Aid Dog Cat Gel 250 ml

Kalm Aid is a gel created by Swedencare laboratories. It is used to modify unwanted behaviour in dogs and cats. It is very useful when they are faced with situations that cause stress or anxiety.

Thanks to L-tryptophan, it helps to control mood and provide a sense of well-being. This amino acid is responsible for stimulating serotonin, a hormone that is known to produce a happy effect in both animals and humans.

Its action is fast, once ingested it takes only 90 minutes to make the pet feel better. The product can be administered over a long period of time without interfering with health.

Experts recommend using the gel in the following cases: moving house, car transfers, arrival of a new pet, travelling, arrival of strangers, noisy environments, thunderstorms with thunder and lightning, fireworks and any other condition that disturbs the daily routine.

It helps to reduce the symptoms associated with fear and anxiety (excessive meowing and barking, urine marks, scratching, biting objects and the need to soil the house, among others).

On the other hand, it is very effective at times when the pet has to be left alone for an extended period of time, helping it to adapt to the process of separation.

Kalm Aid gel is indicated for dogs and cats that need to relax and modify their behaviour.

The daily dose depends on the weight of the animal. For cats under 5 kg, 1 dose once a day is recommended. Cats over 5 kg should consume the same amount, but twice a day.

For dogs, the recommended dosage is 2/5 ml twice a day if they weigh less than 10 kg. For dogs weighing between 10 and 20 kg, the dosage is 5 ml twice daily.

For dogs weighing 20 to 30 kg it is recommended to administer 7.5 ml twice daily. Above 30 kg the dose is increased to 10 ml, administered twice daily.
