When to use ADAPTIL Calm Collar? ADAPTIL Calm Collar will help give your dog confidence both indoors and outdoors. ADAPTIL Calm Collar will help your dog if he becomes nervous around noises such as thunderstorms, firecrackers or fireworks. ADAPTIL Calm Collar will help your dog if he shows signs of stress during walks or in public spaces such as the park. ADAPTIL Calm Collar will help your dog during training. If your dog has a hard time when he is away from home for a while (does not relieve himself in the right place, cries or barks), ADAPTIL Calm Collar will help him.
When to use it? Place the collar around your dog's neck and fasten it. Keep it on at all times, day and night, except during shampooing.
How does ADAPTIL Calm Collar work? Puppies and adult dogs naturally stay together and exchange messages through the air, known as pheromones. These calm messages are released by mothers during lactation and also through the ear area in adult dogs. ADAPTIL transmits this pheromone of calm and security to your dog, which we cannot transmit to him, helping to improve his well-being and helping him to adapt in stressful situations.

One collar provides 4 weeks of consistent support. For dogs with a neck diameter up to 37.5 cm (approximately 15 kg) --> ADAPTIL Calm Collar S for small dogs. For dogs with a neck diameter up to 62.5 cm (approximately 50 kg) --> ADAPTIL Calm Collar M/L for medium and large dogs.
When do we NOT recommend to use it? If your dog's problems are not stress related; ADAPTIL Calm Collar will not help. If your dog's problems are due to lack of exercise or training, such as hyperactivity or over-excitement; ADAPTIL will not help your dog to compensate for this need. If your dog does not have enough stimulation in his environment; ADAPTIL does not provide this and will not help. If your dog does his needs indoors in in inappropriate places due to lack of training or for medical reasons; ADAPTIL will not solve this problem. It is essential to consult a veterinarian to rule out possible medical problems. ADAPTIL will not help and should never be used in cases of aggression towards people or other dogs and puppies. In this case, we strongly recommend that you seek advice from your veterinarian or a behavioural specialist.
