Farmalastic protective blister dressings are useful to stimulate healing, relieve pain and protect blisters from rubbing, dirt and germs. They are water resistant, they adapt easily to the skin, even in hard to reach areas.
Farmalastic blister protector dressing has been designed with the ideal characteristics to reduce blisters and accelerate the healing process. It has hydrocolloid technology that helps regulate the degree of humidity and absorbs blister exudate. The active gel helps to keep the skin moisturised and in the right environment to promote healing and recovery.
The reinforced hydrocolloid cushioning significantly relieves pain and protects the skin from rubbing and friction. Class II A protective dressings come in different sizes and shapes so that you can use the one that best fits the area where the blister is located. These discreet and inconspicuous dressings act like a second skin and create a protective shield that isolates the lesion, protecting it from contamination and possible infection.
These patches are suitable for not letting a wound dry out in a dry environment, as it would not have the water that the cells involved need to function and regenerate. In this breathable and waterproof sanitary pad, the hydrocolloid particles inflate to distribute the pressure exerted on the small wound. It is made of polyurethane, a very flexible material that favours movement and adapts very well to the skin, thanks to its ultra-adhesive edges. It is also useful in the treatment of corns and calluses on heels and toes.
This blister protector is indicated for those who have blisters on their feet, hands and toes.
Before applying the dressing, clean and dry the area well and then choose the appropriate size, depending on the size of the lesion. Remove the white paper without touching the adhesive, apply it to the blister and press it down without forming wrinkles. The transparent film should be removed, following the direction of the arrows, and the edges of the dressing glued well. It can be left on for up to 7 days or until the fluid in the blister oozes out. When it starts to peel off, carefully peel it off and replace it with another one, if necessary.
These dressings should not be applied to infected wounds, nor should they be cut or reused, as they will lose their properties. It is also not suitable for those who may have allergic reactions or intolerance to its components.
