Flogopatch is a medicine in the form of a medicated adhesive dressing used to treat occasional pain caused by sprains, bruises or sports injuries.
It comes in a pack containing 5 dressings.
Suitable for use on adult patients over 18 years of age.
The patches measure 10 x 14 cm and cannot be split.
A maximum of 2 patches per day should be applied, preferably 1 in the morning and 1 at night. Each lesion should be treated individually.
The treatment time should not exceed 7 days.
Do not use Flogopatch:
In children under 18 years of age.
If you have had concomitant reactions to the use of other NSAIDs, or on injured skin, or with burns.
On eyes, lips or mucous membranes.
Simultaneously with etofenamate or other NSAIDs.
In patients with impaired renal, cardiac or hepatic function, its use is not recommended, except under the supervision of a doctor.
Under occlusive dressings to protect the area.
If you are going to expose the affected area directly to the sun during the treatment and for 2 weeks afterwards.
Flogopatch may cause side effects, as is the case with all medicines on the market. Among them, contact dermatitis, burning, itching, swelling of the skin, redness, photosensitisation have been observed.
If you have injured, hit or bruised an area of the body such as the limbs, ankles or any other part and you feel a sharp pain, use Flogopatch medicated adhesive patches twice a day, for a period not exceeding 1 week.
If your symptoms do not improve or worsen after this time, see your doctor for a clinical assessment.
