Topical gel for the local relief of mild and occasional pain and inflammation caused by: small contusions, blows, strains, torticollis or other contractures, back pain and slight sprains.

It is a medicine used for the relief of painful symptoms caused by bruises, strains, muscle and joint pain.
It comes in a 60g tube pack.
Specially formulated for use in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.
Apply Articalm gel 50 mg/g to the affected area 3 to 4 times a day, massaging gently to promote penetration of the drug.
Apply a little heat as a tip, so that the penetration of the drug and the effect is better.
Do not use Articalm 50 mg/g gel:
- In children under 12 years of age.
- Do not apply to injured or open skin or to very large areas.
- Do not apply in case of acute adverse reactions due to the use of salicylic acid or other NSAID derivatives such as asthma, rhinitis, bronchospasm, angioedema, anaphylactic shock, urticaria.
- Do not use occlusive dressings after use of the medicine.
- In pregnancy and lactation, even if the amount absorbed is small, its use is not recommended without prior consultation with a doctor.
Articalm 50 mg/g gel may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In particular, the following have been observed:
- Skin reactions at the site of application such as erythema, itching or burning.
- Sporadic or rare severe skin reactions. The following have been reported: exfoliative dermatitis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis, acute generalised exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP) associated with ibuprofen-containing products.
Each gram of gel Articalm 50 mg/g contains Ibuprofen 50 mg as active ingredient . In addition, it contains the following list of excipients: Sodium hydroxide, Alcohol isopropyl alcohol, Hyethelose, Alcohol benzyl alcohol, Perfume herbal and Water purified.
If you have any type of muscle pain, have suffered a sprain, blow, strain, or simply have joint pain due to a change of weather or other ailment, apply 3 to 4 times a day Articalm 50 mg/g gel to the affected area.
It is recommended to pre-treat the area with a little dry heat to promote the penetration of the drug and increase its effect.
