What is Ulipristal Stada and what is it for?

It is anemergency oral contraceptive medicine used as a last resort after unprotected sex or when the usual method of protection has failed.

It contains 1 film-coated tablet.

Who it is for

Formulated for adult women of childbearing age.

Instructions for use

The tablet should be taken as soon as possible, but no later than 5 days after unprotected sex.

You can take the tablet at any time during your menstrual cycle.

If you vomit within three hours of taking the medicine, you should take another tablet as soon as possible.

Contraindication s

Do not use Ulipristal 30 mg:

• If you have previously had an ectopic (outside the uterus) pregnancy, if you have had pelvic inflammatory disease (salpingitis), if you have a high risk factor for thrombosis, if you have a disease that interferes with the absorption of food and drugs, or if you have liver or bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease ).
• If you are already pregnant, as this medicine does not interrupt a pregnancy already in progress, so you should not take it if pregnancy has already occurred.
