What is Ulipristal Aristo EFG 30 mg and what is it for?

It is an emergency oral contraceptive to be used as a last resort after unprotected sex or after a failed method of protection.

It contains 1 film-coated tablet.

Who it is for

Formulated for adult women of childbearing age.

Instructionsfor use

This is a single tablet that should be taken as soon as possible, but no later than 5 days after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure.

You can take the tablet at any time during your menstrual cycle.

If you vomit within three hours of taking the medicine, you should take another tablet as soon as possible.

Contraindication s

Do not use Ulipristal Aristo:

• If you have previously had an ectopic (outside the uterus) pregnancy, if you have had pelvic inflammatory disease (salpingitis), if you have a high risk factor for thrombosis, if you have a disease that interferes with the absorption of food and drugs, or if you have liver or bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease ).
• If you are already pregnant, as this medicine does not interrupt a pregnancy already in progress, so you should not take it if pregnancy has already occurred.
