It is a medicine formulated with minoxidil, an active ingredient used on the scalp to stimulate hair growth in men with androgenic alopecia.
It comes in a convenient format of 3 bottles of 60 ml each.
It is intended for adults over 18 years of age and under 65 years of age. In adults over 65 years of age, it is necessary to adjust the dosage.
It is not indicated for women or pregnant women, except when prescribed by a doctor.
The recommended dosage is 2 ml per day, divided into two 1 ml doses (equivalent to 6 sprays), one in the morning and one in the evening.
Wash hands before and after use to avoid the appearance of hair on other parts of the body.
Do not use Minoxidil Vinas:
In children under 18 years of age.
In case of allergy to minoxidil or to any of the components present in this medicine.
If you have any skin lesions on the scalp.
If you suffer from heart problems or high blood pressure, unless accompanied by medical supervision.
In women, due to the possibility of hypertrichosis in other areas of the body.
Minoxidil Viñas may cause side effects, as with all medicines. Specifically, the following have been observed:
Frequent: pruritus (itching), local skin irritation, contact dermatitis (redness), skin dryness and peeling (flaking of the skin).
Rare: headache and paraesthesia (numbness in arms or legs). Tachycardia, palpitations and hypotension (low blood pressure). Rash erythematosus (generalised redness), eczema, alopecia and hypertrichosis (hair growth on the skin).
Rare: pustular rash (generalised pustules) and acne.
Very rare: visual disturbance and eye irritation.
Each ml of solution contains 50 mg of minoxidil. The other excipients are: propylene glycol, ethanol 96% and purified water.
Apply with the fingertips from the inside to the outside of the area to be treated, bearing in mind that the treated area should not be exposed to the sun without adequate sun protection.
