What is Ultra Adsorb and what is it used for?

It is a medicine in capsule form with activated charcoal, an active ingredient that acts as an:

• Antidiarrhoeal: inactivating toxins and microorganisms in the digestive tract, through a physical adsorption process.
• Antiflatulent: relieving gas symptoms. Activated charcoal acts by adsorbing gasparticles and substances due to fermentations that cause bloating and flatulence.

Itis therefore indicated for the symptomatic treatment ofoccasional diarrhoea and gas (aerophagia, meteorism, flatulence).

It comes in a pack of 30 capsules.

Who it is intended for

Suitable for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

Instructions for use

The capsules should be swallowed with water. Do not drink other beverages such as coffee, tea, wine, etc., or ice cream or sherbet, which reduce the action of the medicine.

The recommended dosage varies according to the patient's needs:

• As an antidiarrhoeal: 2-3 capsules, each time the symptoms appear.
• As anantiflatulent: 2-3 capsules at least half an hour after the end of meals or at the onset of symptoms .
