Its main active ingredient is sodium hyaluronate, a compound that is naturally present in the eye and is responsible for protecting against conditions that may cause irritation. This ingredient has a great capacity to retain water, which allows a thin lubricating layer to form on the ocular surface, reducing the dryness that may be caused by any condition in this organ or by the influence of external agents. It also contains sodium chloride, an ingredient that helps to reduce inflammation of the cornea and contributes to the hydration of the eye surface.
It also contains disodium phosphate, an ingredient regularly used to treat eye conditions caused by inflammation or injury following swelling or irritation. It also contains magnesium chloride, which relieves the symptoms of dry eye and helps prevent cataracts.
