The two active ingredients in Hylo Dual eye drops are hyaluronic acid and ectoin. The former is found naturally in the eye, so it is very well tolerated.
- The hyaluronic acid used in Hylo eye drops is long-chain and highly viscous. It has water-retaining properties that provide deep and long-lasting hydration of the conjunctiva and cornea. It also forms a protective film on the irritated surface of the eye.
- The second active ingredient, ectoin, promotes increased water retention and helps the eyes stay moisturised for longer. At the same time, it develops long-lasting protection against dehydration and supports the body's own barrier against irritants.
Both active ingredients provide intensive moisturisation of irritated eyes, relieve the symptoms of inflammatory processes and at the same time help to stabilise the lipid phase of the tear film.
