What is Teva Ebastine 10 mg and what is it used for?

It isan anti-allergic medicine formulated with 10 mg of ebastine, an active substance that belongs to the group of so-called antihistamines. It is therefore used to relieve nasal symptoms (sneezing, nasal itching, runny nose, nasal congestion) and eye symptoms (red, watery eyes) associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis.

It comes in a pack of 20 tablets.

Who itis intended for

Suitable for use inadults and adolescents aged 12 years and over.

Instructionsfor use

The recommended dose is 10 mg of ebastine once a day, with or without food and with a glass of water . Some patients may require a dose of 1 tablet of 20 mg once daily. However, in patients with severe liver disease, the dose of 10 mg of ebastine per day should not be exceeded.
