GINE-CANESTÉN

Gine-Canestén is a brand of Bayer Laboratories composed of various products such as gels, creams, capsules and over-the-counter medicines. These products and medicines have been created for women's intimate care, preventing and treating vaginal candidiasis.

Candidiasis is more common than people think, it is estimated that approximately 75% of women will suffer from candidiasis at some time in their lives and that more than 50% will suffer from it with some recurrence. Candidiasis is nothing more than infection by fungi such as candida in the vagina, which is why it is called vaginal candidiasis.

It is important to remember that candidiasis is not a sexually transmitted infection, which does not mean that it cannot be transmitted to a partner.
