Who it is for Intended for use in women and adolescents over 12 years of age who suffer from uncomplicated vulvovaginal candidiasis, a type of infection caused by a fungus commonly known as Candida. Instructions for use Take one vaginal tablet of Gine-Canesten 500 mg, preferably at night before going to bed. To ensure the correct functioning of this medicine, it is recommended to insert the tablet as deeply into the vagina as possible. As a rule, the application of a single tablet should be sufficient. Contraindications Do not use Gine-Canesten 500 mg: - In children under 12 years of age. - In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to clotrimazole or to any of the ingredients included in this medicine. - During menstruation.
