How do I know if I need to strengthen my immune system?

In times of pandemic and during periods of sudden temperature changes, it is very important to look after our defences and strengthen the immune system, which is responsible for protecting us against possible viruses and bacteria. The immune system is the main protection of the human body against external pathogens, which is why we must pay special attention to our defences. A drop in defences is a problem, as our body becomes more vulnerable to attack by viruses and bacteria, especially through the respiratory system.

What symptoms indicate that we need to strengthen the immune system?

  • Infections.
  • Recurring fever (even if it is not high). What do we mean by this? That a simple cold leaves the body lacking defences.
  • Chills.
  • Nausea.
  • Skin patches (usually white or red).
  • Excessive tiredness.
  • Lack of sleep.
  • Excess stress.
  • Dry eyes.

All of these are some of the most common symptoms that may indicate that the body's defences are at low levels and need to recover.

Healthy habits to strengthen the defences

The passage of time can also take its toll and lower the defences naturally. What can we do?
