Remove the spot-on applicator from the bottle.
Step 1: Hold the applicator in an upright position, placing your fingers underneath the larger disc as shown.
Step 2: With the other hand, press down on the small disc until the 2 discs meet. This will puncture the seal.
Step 3: The dog should stand in a comfortable position to facilitate application. Part the hair until the skin is visible. Apply the medication (as indicated in step 4 below) slowly with the tip of the applicator to the skin.
Step 4: Use according to recommendation 4a or 4b:
Recommendation 4a: Gently squeeze the applicator and apply the medication to the skin along the dog's back, starting between the shoulder blades, in the number of dots and order shown in the diagram below and squeeze until the applicator is empty. Avoid superficial application to the dog's coat. The number of application points will depend on the weight of the dog.
Recommendation 4b: Regardless of the weight of the animal, using the tip of the applicator, separate the hair from the base of the tail and begin applying the product, directly to the skin, in a continuous line from the base of the tail along the centre of the back to the shoulder blades, as shown in the drawing, squeezing the applicator until it is empty.
