Directions for use Take 2 tablets a day with meals, one at midday and one in the evening. This treatment can be maintained for approximately 2-3 months. Contraindications Do not take Variliv Diosmin : - In case of allergy to flavonoids or to any of the components included in this medicinal product. - In children under 18 years of age. Side effects Diosmin may cause side effects, as with all medicines. This does not mean that everyone will experience side effects. Side effects can be: - Common: indigestion, nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting. - Infrequent: colitis. - Rare: malaise, dizziness, headache, rash, hives, itching. - Unknown frequency: swelling of face, lips and eyelids; abdominal pain. - Rare: Quincke's oedema may occur. Composition Each tablet contains 450 mg Diosmin and 50 mg Hesperidin as the main active ingredients. The other excipients are microcrystalline cellulose (E-460), gelatin, potato sodium carboxymethyl starch, talc and magnesium stearate. The coating components of these tablets are: lactose monohydrate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, macrogol 4000, iron oxide yellow (E-172) and iron oxide red (E-172).
