PediaSure Teen Balance, Chocolate flavour, 850 g

PediaSure Teen Balance is a dietary supplement containing protein, vitamins and minerals, formulated to meet the nutritional needs of teenagers aged 11 and over. During adolescence, most boys and girls experience a final period of rapid growth and need up to twice as many key nutrients compared to before^puberty4. It supplements their nutrition to support their growth and^development3. It contains iron to support attention and^memory1, as well as other vitamins, such as vitamin D to support the^{immune system5}, and minerals, such as magnesium to help them face the day with energy by helping to reduce^fatigue2.

1. Iron contributes to the normal cognitive development of children.
2. Magnesium helps reduce tiredness and fatigue.
3. Essential fatty acids are necessary for the normal growth and development of children. This beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 2 g of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and 10 g of linoleic acid (LA).
4. Based on a comparison of the recommended intakes (EFSA DRVs) for the key growth nutrients Ca, Zn and P. Children aged 1–3 years compared with those aged 11–14 years.
5. Vitamin D contributes to the normal functioning of children’s immune systems.
6. Based on a study conducted by Ipsos in August 2022 involving taste tests with 120 children aged 10–15, of whom more than 92 liked the taste of PediaSure Teen Balance (vanilla and chocolate flavoured powder).

Recommended intake: 2 servings per day, with or between meals, as required. Do not exceed the maximum number of servings per day. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Directions for use: To prepare a 225 ml serving, pour 190 ml of room temperature or cold water into a glass and gradually stir in 5 level scoops (approx. 49.1 g) of PediaSure Teen Balance powder. Serving = 49.1 g of powder in 190 ml of water to make 225 ml. It can be heated but not above 35°C to preserve the nutritional properties.

Storage instructions: Store the tin in a cool, dry place (not refrigerated) at room temperature. Once opened, the tin must be sealed and the contents used within 3 weeks. Once mixed, PediaSure Teen Balance must be covered, refrigerated and used within 24 hours. Keep out of reach of children.

Warning: Do not heat PediaSure Teen Balance in the microwave. This may cause severe burns. Excessive consumption may cause stomach upset. Avoid consuming alongside medicines and other fibre-based food supplements.
