What is Nicorette clear patches and what is it used for?

Nicorette clearis a medicine used for smoking cessation, when there is an intention to reduce or stop smoking.This type of treatment is called nicotine replacement therapy (NRT).

Nicorette Clear relieves the withdrawal symptoms of quitting smoking by giving the body a small amount of nicotine for a short period of time.

Who it is for

Suitable for use in adults and adolescents over 18 years of age.

How to use

You should stop smoking immediately if you are using the smoking cessation patches. The patch should be placed on the skin when you get up and removed after 16 hours.

• 1st phase: it is recommended to use a 15 mg/g patch 16 hours a day for 8 weeks.
• 2nd phase: reduce to a 10 mg/g patch for 4 weeks. Duration of treatment is about 3 months but may vary depending on individual response.

Smokers who are very dependent may use combination therapy with nicotine 2mg medication gum, lozenges or nicotine 1mg/g spray.

Contraindication s

Do not use Nicorette Clear:

• Under 18 years of age.
• In case of allergy to any of the components present in the composition of this medicinal product.
