Over 12 years of age: take one 10 ml measure every 8 hours, not exceeding the maximum dose of 3 times a day, which means a daily maximum of 90 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride.
Children 6 to 12 years of age:take one 5 ml measure every 8-12 hours up to a maximum of 2-3 times a day or a maximum daily dose of 45 mg ambroxol hydrochloride. Take the minimum dose that is effective.
Children 2-5 years: 1 dose of 2.5 ml, 3 times a day (every 8 hours), which means a daily maximum of 22.5 mg ambroxol hydrochloride. After 2-3 days, once the patient improves, the dosing regimen can be reduced to 2 times daily every 12 hours.
