Mepilex® Lite foam dressing is specially designed to treat chronic and acute wounds with low levels of exudate. Its thin profile and softness provide comfort and ease of application in hard-to-reach areas. In addition, it can be easily adapted by cutting to size. Mepilex Lite dressings offer effective protection for fragile skin against external forces, such as friction and pressure generated by frequent use of medical devices. It incorporates Safetac® technology, an original contact layer with silicone adhesion that reduces pain. This feature allows it to gently conform to the skin without adhering to the moist wound, making it easy to remove without causing additional damage. As a result, patient discomfort is reduced. In addition, it seals the wound edges to prevent lateral leakage of exudate and protect the skin from maceration. Mepilex Lite has been clinically proven to contribute to the control of skin reactions caused by radiotherapy.
