It is part of the European Personal Care Division of Domtar Corporation (www.domtar.com). A public company listed on the American stock exchange and employing more than 10,000 people worldwide. Today Indas is a dynamic company whose core business is the manufacture and marketing of absorbent products for incontinence, absorbent products for infant and feminine hygiene, and medical devices for clinical and hospital use.

Indas employs more than 600 people who manufacture and sell products in more than 25 countries in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. The headquarters are located in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid. Since the 1950s, INDAS has been marketing products that help people live better every day of their lives.

The Novés factory, located in Toledo, Spain, is one of the largest and most technologically advanced factories for manufacturing absorbent products in Europe. Together with the plant in Aneby, Sweden, it makes Domtar Europe one of the leading European manufacturers of absorbent products for incontinence and feminine and child hygiene. These plants together with those already existing in the United States, especially the one specialising in the manufacture of advanced superabsorbent materials, position Domtar's Personal Care division worldwide as an important reference in the sector.

Among the renowned brands marketed by INDAS are brands such as Incopack®, leader in adult incontinence pads, Indasec® leader in pads for light incontinence, Sabanindas® leader in single-use pads and Chelino® in children's hygiene or Indas® in sanitary products. Indas maintains a strong commitment to people, especially those with incontinence, and that is why it continuously promotes innovation projects aimed at developing products and services in line with their needs. Innovation is a key pillar in the business strategy and investment in knowledge and technology.

The production centres, especially the one in Novés (Toledo), have been a sustained driving force for economic growth and employment in the region, and have won several awards for this reason.

Another fundamental pillar of INDAS, within the DOMTAR group, is awareness of occupational prevention systems. Safety in the workplace, especially in the manufacturing plant, is a priority over other production parameters and we work towards the goal of zero accidents.
