Carry out a patch test on your forearm before first use. Use only on healthy skin. Do not apply to irritated or damaged skin, skin with medical conditions (rosacea, dermatitis, etc.) or following procedures such as laser treatments, medical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning or recent shaving. Avoid the area around the eyes and lips. You may experience a tingling sensation or a feeling of ‘micro-pricks’ after application; this is a normal characteristic of the product, does not indicate a fault or poor storage, and usually subsides after a few moments. If the discomfort is severe or persistent, or if severe redness, a burning sensation or itching occurs, rinse off with water, discontinue use and consider consulting a doctor depending on the severity. Introduce gradually (2–3 nights a week) and do not combine with potent exfoliants during the same time window; nor, in the same application, with active ingredients such as exfoliating acids, retinoids or low-pH vitamin C.
