La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 SPF50+ is a cream that helps soothe irritation, itching and dryness in sensitive skin. It also helps prevent or reduce skin pigmentation caused by the sun, as it has a sun protection factor SPF50+ that prevents the effects on the skin caused by the incidence of UVA and UVB rays. This repairing balm contains La Roche Posay thermal spring water and ingredients that have beneficial properties for the dermis. It is enriched with madecasoside, an active ingredient with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, moisturising and skin repairing properties that helps to improve the appearance of the skin.
In synergy with this ingredient are other ingredients such as procerad and panthenol 5%. Procerad is a patented ceramide that supports the reconstruction of the skin barrier, helping to protect the skin's surface against the appearance of brown or reddish marks or blemishes. As for panthenol 5% or vitamin B5, this nutrient helps soothe dry, irritated and reddened areas. As a result, Cicaplast Baume B5 reduces redness by 93%, burning sensations by 91%, tightness by 88% and tingling of the skin by 75%. It can also degrade the colour of skin pigments such as those produced by tattoos. The product has a pleasant, non-greasy, non-sticky texture and leaves no white marks.
