EXPLIVAR® PLUS contains 535mg of atomised Polypodium leucotomos extract per serving and is free of additives. In the various doctoral theses and studies published on Polypodium leucotomos, biochemical parameters measuring muscle damage such as cortisol and creatine phosphokinase (CPK) have been studied, and a significant reduction (p<0.05) in these markers was observed in the group that ingested the plant extract. It contains isomaltulose, a disaccharide carbohydrate composed of glucose and fructose which, through an enzymatic process, achieves a low glycaemic index, lower than that of common sucrose, allowing a slow assimilation of these sugars.
