Gerber Porridge Oatmeal & Plum, 8X250 Gr

It is a Gerber porridge with plum and wholegrain oats with a high fibre content, which is used as a complementary food for babies from 6 months of age. The soluble fibre present in its formulation contributes to better intestinal transit and reduces the likelihood of constipation. Its smooth texture allows it to be easily diluted without lumps. It also has a very pleasant taste.

This porridge incorporates 45.6% whole grain oats rich in minerals (iron and zinc), proteins, vitamins (E and B group), slow absorption carbohydrates and fibre. All these components help to strengthen defences, stimulate physical development and reduce stomach inflammation. Oats also help to strengthen the immune system, which helps to prevent future illnesses.

Similarly, oats have a great satiating capacity, which reduces the sensation of hunger and allows calories to be released when they are needed, slowly. Its carbohydrate content such as starch and fibre makes it ideal for preventing obesity in children. This porridge also contains plums, which contain a lot of fibre and sorbitol, which allows them to act as a mild natural laxative.
