Who it is intended for Specially formulated for people with problems of heaviness, swelling or varicose veins in the legs. Instructions for use The recommended dosage is as follows: Take 2 tablets of Diosmin Pensa a day, divided into two intakes during meals, one at lunch and one at dinner. Contraindications Do not use Diosmin Pensa - In children under 18 years of age. - In case of allergy to diosmin, to other flavonoids or to any of the excipients present in this medicine. - If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, unless expressly recommended by a doctor. Side effects Like all medicines, Diosmin Pensa can cause side effects, but this does not mean that everybody will experience them. In this case, the following have been observed: Frequent: gastrointestinal disorders (diarrhoea, indigestion, nausea, vomiting). Infrequent: colitis. Rare: nervous system disorders (dizziness, headache, malaise) and skin reactions (rash, pruritus, urticaria). Unknown frequency: abdominal pain, isolated oedema of the face, lips and eyelids (swelling). Rarely, Quincke's oedema (rapid swelling of tissues such as the face, lips, mouth, tongue or throat which may cause difficulty in breathing) may occur. Pharmaceutical advice If after 2 weeks of treatment the symptoms do not improve or worsen, consult your doctor. Read the package leaflet included with this medicine carefully. Composition Composition ofDiosmin Pensa Pharma: Each tablet contains as active ingredient the purified and micronised flavonoid fraction, containing 450 mg of diosmin and other flavonoids expressed as 50 mg of Hesperidin. The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose (E-460), gelatin, potato sodium carboxymethyl starch, talc and magnesium stearate. The coating agents are: lactose monohydrate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, macrogol 4000, iron oxide yellow (E-172) and iron oxide red (E-172). What is the price of this medicine?
