KARITE BUTTER: Provides emollience and deeply nourishes the skin, improving its elasticity and suppleness. It is also used to treat burns and scars due to its softening, healing and regenerating properties.
JOJOBA OIL: A fast-absorbing, non-comedogenic oil with high antioxidant benefits and the ability to regenerate tissues.
SQUALANE: This component has the ability to penetrate the skin, restoring and preserving the lipid barrier through its emollient action. As a result, the skin becomes smoother and firmer.
CERAMIDES: Ceramides function as the glue that binds our skin cells together, preserving the skin barrier. A healthy skin barrier acts as a protective seal, retaining moisture and preventing the entry of irritants.
PHOSPHOLIPIDS: Phospholipids are components present in skin cell membranes. They help to reinforce the skin barrier and also act as moisturising agents.
TRIGLYCERIDES: Easily absorbed, they help prevent moisture loss without greasing or clogging. They have emollient properties and are highly antioxidant.
MOISTURISING INGREDIENTS:
GLYCERIN: Glycerin has moisturising and soothing properties for the skin. Acting as a humectant, it naturally attracts water. Therefore, when applied to the skin, glycerin helps retain moisture and improves skin hydration.
PANTHENOL: Panthenol, when applied to the skin, is absorbed and converted into vitamin B5. Its moisturising, soothing, healing and regenerating properties help to smooth and improve the skin's appearance.
