Braun Physiological Serum Ecolav 500 ml

Braun Ecolav saline, without additives or stabilisers, is a topical solution that helps to remove microorganisms, dead cells and debris from wounds to keep them free of bacteria. It is an isotonic solution that does not alter the balance of fluids in the wound and helps to preserve the pH of the skin. It is respectful of the formation of new tissue in wounds. It does not cause burning, irritation or allergies in the epidermis.

Its concentration of 0.9 g of salt per litre of water is the same as that of body fluids so as not to cause imbalances. It can be applied on mucous membranes to reduce the risk of infections, it is antiseptic and moisturising. It is for medicinal use and has a steerable jet that facilitates and directs irrigation. It is a stable product with an extended shelf life, packaged in a flexible, 100 % recyclable, twist-open polyethylene bottle.

The cylindrical shape of the bottle allows control of the pressure and direction of the liquid. In hospitals, it can be used to dilute medicines to be injected or in nasal washes when treating sinus inflammation. It can be used in processes that require filtration of toxins and water in the blood, when the kidneys are not functioning properly.
