Acofar Physiological Nasal and Ophthalmic Serum

It is a medicated physiological saline solution used for nasal and ophthalmic hygiene. It can be used in infants, children and adults, for nasal hygiene, instillation or washing for dry or blocked noses. For eye hygiene, instillation, washing or eye baths. For washing wounds, and even as a solvent for inhalation in aerosol treatment.

Presented in single doses, it is hygienic and allows ease and safety of use.

Who it is intended for

\nAcofar Nasal and Ophthalmic Physiological Serum is recommended for use in infants, children and adults.

- For nasal hygiene: as an instillation or as a wash for dry or congested nose.

- For ocular hygiene: instillation, wash or bath.

Instructions for use

Uncap a single dose and open it by twisting the upper part.

- For nasal hygiene: Tilt the head back. Gently insert the mouthpiece into the window and gently squeeze the unidosis. Repeat the operation on the other window. Lift the head to let the mucus drip out, then wipe off the excess. Do not blow your nose violently for 10 minutes after administration. In infants, instill the product with minimum pressure to avoid any risk of contamination of the middle ear.

- For ocular hygiene: Place a few drops of solution in each eye, taking care that the unidose does not come into contact with the surface of the eye.

Wipe off any excess liquid with a sterile compress. In case of treatment by eye drops, wait for 15 minutes before instillation.

Contraindications

Do not use a damaged or already opened unidose because of the risk of rapid bacterial contamination. Do not exceed the expiry date stated on the package.

Latex allergy sufferers: No information on latex content is available.

Do not use the same unidosis for different uses. For single and individual use only. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
