In women, it can be used in cases of generalised hair thinning. How does it work?Minoxidil is a topical peripheral vasodilator. Although its exact mechanism of action on hair growth is not fully understood, it acts at the level of the hair follicle and helps to stimulate hair growth.It is important to bear in mind that this is a treatment for hair loss, not a definitive cure. Therefore, consistent application is essential to maintain the results. Directions for useApply 1 ml directly to the affected area of the scalp, twice a day, preferably in the morning and at night.A 1 ml dose is equivalent to 7 sprays. Massage gently with your fingertips and wash your hands after each application.Do not exceed the recommended dose, as applying more will not improve the results and may increase the risk of adverse effects. ResultsResults are not immediate. In general, new hair growth occurs gradually and it may be necessary to continue treatment for at least 4 months to assess its effectiveness.During the first few weeks, a temporary increase in hair loss may be observed; this may be related to the product’s effect on the hair growth cycle.
