INFO AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Know how to observe your horse.
Know the signs that may indicate a need for pulmonary respiratory support: decreased performance, dilated nostrils, intolerance to work, thrust line, forceful exhalation, difficulty recovering after exercise, difficulty adapting to dusty environments, intolerance to living in poorly ventilated boxes, to eating dry hay, or even weight loss and weak general condition. Don't hesitate to note these elements accurately and share them with your vet, who will be able to advise you and recommend Balsamic Control.

Know how to anticipate.
The hindsight of our veterinarians allows us to know that when the horse has had some episodes of pulmonary respiratory distress, it is very likely that these episodes will return depending on changes in the horse's environment (box, pollen, dust, dry weather, etc.). .). This recurrence will be even more evident in older horses. Know how to anticipate these episodes by adapting the horse's living conditions (see below) and by administering Balsamic Control 1 month before and during the risk period.

Breathing: a lever for the horse's comfort and performance.
The attached study shows the link between breathing and performance. The respiratory system is often forgotten when there is a drop in the horse's performance. However, it is a system that must function at full capacity most of the time to allow the horse to be efficient and not tire too quickly.

Throughout the year, the presence of dust, mould or pollen in the environment can cause repeated respiratory discomfort in some horses. These difficulties reduce the horse's blood oxygenation capacity and can affect its performance and comfort in case of high sensitivity.

This need to optimise the horse's breathing is also found in young horses to accompany their training.
