INFO AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Bad cholesterol has two possible origins:

- The one we get from our diet (exogenous).
- Cholesterol produced by our body (endogenous).

Cholesterol can also oxidise and accumulate in the arteries.

AQUILEA Cholesterol is a formula based on active plant ingredients that acts on three main fronts:

1. Plant sterols: which lower blood cholesterol by reducing the absorption of exogenous cholesterol.

2. Red yeast rice, a source of Monacolin K, which helps to maintain normal cholesterol levels by helping to synthesise endogenous cholesterol.

Vitamin E, which helps protect against oxidative damage. Hydroxytyrosol from the olive tree.

High cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease.
The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 1.5 to 3 grams of sterols.
The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 10mg of Monacolin K from fermented red rice yeast preparations.
