It is a powerful antiseptic that is indicated in case of minor injuries such as scratches, cuts and cracks, preventing the appearance of bacteria. It is also used to prepare the skin in case of an injection or blood extraction and to care for and disinfect the navel area in newborns until the umbilical cord falls off.
To avoid infections in minor or superficial cuts or wounds it is always important to keep the skin disinfected and alcohol is one of the most powerful disinfectants on the market. In this sense, its use is of great importance for the care of injuries, as well as in the disinfection of hands and other surfaces that could be exposed to bacteria and viruses.
The 70 % alcohol has a stronger bactericidal action, as it penetrates the bacterial protoplasm more effectively and quickly. In addition, it is capable of destroying 90% of the bacteria on the skin or surface to be cleaned.

It is indicated for use on the skin of people of all ages who require cleaning and disinfection, either because an injection or blood extraction is required or because they have a minor injury or wound.
It is recommended to apply to the skin with a sterile cotton or gauze pad, gently wiping over the area to be disinfected. Leave to act for 2 or 3 minutes until completely absorbed. It is advisable to wash your hands thoroughly before proceeding to clean any area of the skin with a minor cut or lesion. It is also essential to disinfect the wound before applying any type of product to avoid possible infections.
It is a flammable product, so it is recommended to keep away from any heat source. Avoid contact with eyes and other mucous membranes. Do not administer orally. In case of accidental contact with eyes, the area should be washed with plenty of cold water. Not to be used for disinfection of open wounds.
