Alocutan 50 mg/ml Minoxidil Skin Spray Solution 3 Bottles, 60 ml

It is a medicine in the form of a topical solution formulated with minoxidil, an active ingredient that prevents hereditary hair loss in men, while stimulating hair growth and promoting regeneration in the weakest areas.

It comes in a pack containing 3 bottles of 60 ml each.

Formulated for men with androgenic alopecia and ages between 18 and 65.

Apply 1 ml of Alocutan 50 mg/ml twice a day (morning and evening) to the affected scalp area. Do not exceed the daily amount applied, regardless of the size of the area to be treated.

Do not use Alocutan:

• In children under 18 years of age and over 65 years of age.

• In women.

• In case of allergy to minoxidil or to any of the components present in this medicine.

• If you are using other medicines on the scalp.

• If you have any type of bandage or dressing on your scalp.

• If you have sudden or patchy hair loss.

• If you have a scalp condition such as psoriasis, sunburn or damage from scars or burns.

As with all medicines on the market, Alocutan may cause side effects, although not everybody will experience them. In this case, the following have been observed:

• Very frequent: headache.

• Frequent: itching, increased hair growth beyond the scalp (including facial hair growth in women), inflammatory skin reaction (including acneiform rash, rash), shortness of breath, difficulty breathing.difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, swollen arms and legs, weight gain, high blood pressure, scalp irritation such as stinging, burning, dryness, itching, scaling, folliculitis, rare: dizziness, nausea.

• Frequency unknown: allergic reaction, contact dermatitis (allergy-related skin inflammation), depressed mood, eye irritation, faster heartbeat, palpitations, low blood pressure, vomiting, swelling of the skin, swelling of the eyes, swelling of the eyes, swelling of the skin.symptoms at the site of administration that may also affect the ears and face, dermatitis, blistering, bleeding, ulceration, temporary hair loss, changes in hair colour, altered hair structure, chest pain.

The active substance of Alocutan is minoxidil. Each ml of solution contains 50 mg of minoxidil. The other ingredients are: 96% (v/v) ethanol, propylene glycol (E1520), purified water.

This medicinal product is supplied in a bottle containing a clear, colourless, yellowish solution, which comes in single 60 ml and 3 x 60 ml packs.
