The DELTA FRONT Collar has a repellent (anti-feeding) effect against phlebotomine sandflies (Phlebotomus perniciosus) and culicid mosquitoes (Culex pipiens) for 5 and 6 months; therefore it can be considered as part of a programme for the prevention of leishmaniasis and culicid mosquitoes of the Culex pipiens complex. It is also indicated for the prevention of tick and flea infestations for 6 and 4 months.
