Calming pheromones with catnip to reduce stress-related behaviours in cats
ZENIFEL® Spray contains feline facial pheromones and catnip to help cats and kittens feel relaxed and comfortable in stressful situations.
These pheromones mimic the pheromones your cat naturally produces, helping your cat feel safe and secure in the home. ZENIFEL® Spray is fast-acting, making it ideal for stressful situations inside and outside the home, such as trips in the carrier or visits to the vet.
What are pheromones and how do they work?
Pheromones are natural signals that cats use to communicate and feel safe in your home. When your cat rubs against furniture or you, it releases these pheromones, marking its territory and creating a sense of calm and well-being.
ZENIFEL® mimics these pheromones to help calm your cat and reduce stress-related behaviours.
COMPOSITION: Calming pheromones (11.6%) with catnip extract (Nepeta cataria) (0.5%).
Transport/Transport
Apply up to 8 sprays inside the carrier. Repeat every 4 hours as needed.
New animal or environment
Before introducing your cat to the new pet or environment: spray door frames, corners of large furniture and corners of rooms 18 cm above the floor. Repeat every 6 hours as needed. Reapply once daily for up to 2 months.
Urine marking
Clean up all traces of urine and then spray the vertical surface 13-18 cm above the floor. Reapply 1-3 sprays every 4 hours as needed.
Scratches
Apply up to 6 sprays once a day to the scratched area.
Stressful events (weather, visitors, fireworks)
Spray 24 hours before a planned event. If unplanned, wait 15 minutes after spraying to allow the cat to enter the treated areas. Repeat every 6 hours as needed.
