In the case of adult flea bites, it protects for 6 weeks in cats and three months in dogs. Against ticks it is effective for 4 weeks. If ticks are already present on the animal at the time of application, it is likely that they will not die within 48 hours of treatment, but will die within a week. This dog dewormer can be used as a treatment strategy against flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), provided it has been diagnosed by a supervising veterinarian.
