What is it and what is it for?

Viadol normal MILO beige stockings in medium size have a therapeutic and preventive effect that favours proper blood circulation in the legs. They help to reduce the possibility of varicose veins and contribute to the recovery of people with varicose veins. They are suitable for pregnant women or to relax the lower limbs during long days of standing, travelling or walking.

To improve circulation in the veins, this product exerts appropriate pressure on the legs, so that the bloodstream flows upwards. This helps to prevent inflammation and swelling and, to a lesser extent, the appearance of clots and bruises.

They are recommended for the treatment of spider veins, varicose veins or for optimal recovery after surgery. Among their main benefits, we can list:

  • They help to soothe the feeling of heaviness and pain in the legs.
  • They help to relieve swelling.
  • They prevent the appearance of blood clots, mainly after an injury or surgery.
  • They help to reduce the risk of complications caused by blood clots, such as post-phlebotic syndrome.

Who is it indicated for?

They are suitable for people who suffer from varicose veins or who are predisposed to developing them. They are also adapted to the requirements of those with tired or heavy legs, pregnant women and to facilitate recovery after injury or surgery.

How to use

Put the socks on every day, as soon as you get out of bed. This is the time of day when the limbs show the least swelling. Follow these steps:

  • Grasp the stocking at the top and roll it down to the heel.
  • Insert the foot into the sock as far as it will go, without exerting excessive pressure. Then, place the heel into the garment.
  • Gently pull the stocking upwards until it is correctly positioned.
  • When the top of the stocking is in place, smooth out the wrinkles using both hands while massaging the affected area.

If you find it difficult to put the stockings on, follow these recommendations:

  • Use talcum powder or cornstarch to make it easier for the garment to slide up.
  • Use rubber gloves to help smooth and adjust them.
  • You can use a shoehorn to insert the foot into the stocking.

Contraindications

Do not use if you have open wounds or treatment pads on your legs. Avoid use if you have been diagnosed with severe arterial insufficiency or if you are allergic to any of the components.
