Cutania Glycozoo shampoo and Cutania Glycozoo spray work as a dermatological treatment for dogs, cats and horses. They restore the epithelium and provide a soothing and protective effect. The spray solution acts as a keratolytic cleanser.
Cutania Glycozoo shampoo and Cutania Glycozoo spray are a treatment for animal skin pathologies caused by Malassezia dermatitis, keratoseborrhoeic disorders and atopic dermatitis. Prescribed for dogs, cats and horses.
Contains boric acid as an active ingredient, which has a drying action and helps to control yeast overgrowth. Some studies have also shown that it has an antibiotic effect to prevent the spread of the pathology. As for glycolic acid, being an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) with a very small molecular chain, it allows the product to easily penetrate the animal's skin. It has keratolytic and lipolytic properties, which have an exfoliating and rejuvenating effect, favouring the detachment of dead cells found in the upper layer of the dermis. Thus, it promotes cell renewal, which helps to better hydrate the skin. Caramides, on the other hand, have a specific function that works as a barrier, preventing water loss and retaining it, thus promoting greater hydration and elasticity. These molecules also promote the restoration of the epithelium. Within the group of caramides, there is also phytosphingosine, an element with antimicrobial properties, which in addition to deeply exfoliating, sterilises the area and creates a protective barrier that prevents its spread.
It can be used as a treatment for skin conditions in cats, dogs and horses, such as dermatitis caused by Malassezia spp, either as a sole treatment or as a complement; keratoseborrheic disorders and other derived skin syndromes; dermatitis of any type and other pathologies associated with the growth of the Malassezia fungus, common in dogs and cats.
Before use, preferably cut the hair to allow the product to penetrate more deeply into the skin.
Wet the hair before applying the shampoo, rub into a rich lather, focusing on the most affected areas, and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse the product thoroughly and make sure the water removes all the lather. Repeat the process if necessary. The frequency of application of the product will depend on the severity of the skin condition of the animal. The minimum recommendation is twice a week.
Do not use when the skin is severely irritated or injured, avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Rinse preferably with lukewarm water.
